Gran Mercat Menu
The Gran Mercat menu is a tribute to the classic, old-school bar, just a few steps from the Mercado Central and the Lonja de la Seda. Classic tapas, seafood, rice dishes and traditional Valencian recipes, made with fresh produce and no frills, just the way they’ve always been made.
Here you’ll find the flavours you crave in the heart of Valencia: gildas, Russian salad or patatas bravas to start; tellinas, mussels a la marinera or croquettes to share; and to follow, a Valencian paella, an arroz del senyoret or a seafood fideuá.
Our menu stands for a simple idea: classic tapas, unaltered and with nothing added, in a bar that keeps the atmosphere of the old days.

Breakfast and drinks at Gran Mercat
We open every day from 9:00 am so you can start your morning in the heart of Valencia. Toast with tomato and ham, grilled croissants, a slice of Spanish omelette and fresh orange juice, in a bar with an old-school feel, just a step away from the Mercado Central.
And to go with your tapas: beers, wines from the Valencia region and other appellations, sangria, gin and tonics and the classic Agua de Valencia.

At Gran Mercat, we want everyone to enjoy their meal with all the information they need.
We have an allergen menu that identifies, for every dish, the 14 allergens that must be declared by law: gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soy, milk, tree nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin and molluscs. We also offer gluten-free bread and dishes such as our seasonal vegetable paella for those looking for options without meat or fish.
