Last updated: August 25, 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on https://www.grupogomez.es/ and should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

1. Controller

The party responsible for managing the Website and the general configuration of cookies and measurement technologies is Grupo Gómez Restauración, S.L., Tax ID (NIF) B16810061, with registered office at Calle Tránsits nº 6, 46002 Valencia, Spain. For privacy-related matters, you may contact comunicacion@grupogomez.es.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files or identifiers that a website or a third-party service may store or access on the user’s device while browsing. They may be used to enable technical functions, remember preferences, measure website usage, integrate external content, or carry out advertising measurement and personalization. Similar technologies may also be used, such as pixels, local storage, device identifiers, or tracking tags.

3. Consent management tool

The Website uses CookieScript as its consent management platform. CookieScript makes it possible to display the cookie notice, offer acceptance or rejection options, manage preferences by category, record the choice made, and allow the user to change it later through the floating settings button.

The user’s choice is stored by CookieScript for 4 weeks and 2 days. If this configuration is changed, the information shown to the user must also be updated.

4. Categories of cookies and technologies

The CookieScript panel organizes the technologies used by the Website into the following categories:

7. Consent: accept, reject, or configure

When the user accesses the Website, CookieScript displays a notice that allows accepting or rejecting non-necessary cookies and accessing the settings panel. The accept and reject options must be displayed at the same level and with equivalent visibility, without making rejection more difficult than acceptance.

Strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent when they are essential to provide an expressly requested service or to enable the essential technical operation of the Website. Analytics, advertising, and other non-necessary technology cookies will only be activated when valid consent exists for the corresponding category.

Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel/CAPI are blocked prior to consent. TikTok’s _ttp cookie is classified as advertising/targeting and likewise remains blocked until the user gives consent for that category. Strictly necessary cookies, including Stripe’s m cookie when used exclusively for security and fraud prevention in a payment requested by the user, may be activated without consent. The consent configuration will be reviewed whenever relevant changes occur in plugins, tags, or integrations.

8. Changing or withdrawing consent

The user may change or withdraw their consent at any time through the CookieScript floating button available on the Website. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to that withdrawal.

9. Google Consent Mode v2

The Website has Google Consent Mode v2 enabled. This system communicates the consent status selected by the user to Google’s tags. Its use does not replace the obligation to inform, nor does it by itself make lawful a processing activity that requires consent. The technical configuration must at all times respect the choice made in CookieScript.

10. Maps, videos, and embedded content

The Website may embed Google Maps, YouTube, Vimeo, or other external content. These providers may use cookies, local storage, or other identifiers. Where such technologies are not strictly necessary, their loading must be conditioned on the corresponding consent, or a configuration must be used that avoids non-necessary storage prior to acceptance.

11. International transfers

Some cookie or technology providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where an international transfer of personal data occurs, the mechanisms provided for under the GDPR will be applied, such as adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for participating U.S. entities where applicable, standard contractual clauses, or other appropriate safeguards.

12. Management from the browser

In addition to the CookieScript panel, the user may delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functioning of some Website features. Specific instructions depend on the browser and version used.

13. Updating the Cookie Policy

This Policy will be reviewed whenever cookies, technologies, purposes, providers, or consent configuration change. Since Grupo Los Gómez plans to progressively add new restaurant pages to the domain, a new CookieScript scan and review will be carried out after each relevant addition and, in any case, with the frequency necessary to keep the information up to date.

14. Contact

For inquiries related to this Cookie Policy or to the processing of personal data, you may contact Grupo Gómez Restauración, S.L. at comunicacion@grupogomez.es or at Calle Pérez Pujol 4, bajo, 46002 Valencia, Spain.
